Caroline Rhea Camp
BUFFALO — Caroline Rhea Camp, 75, of Buffalo, died peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2009, at home surrounded by her family.
Rhea, as she was known by her family and friends, was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Geneseo. She was the daughter of the late Rossolino and Caroline (Ferrara) Pecora.
She married her husband, Calvin Kenneth Camp, on June 11, 1959. He passed away May 1, 1998.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, Rhea was a school teacher for more than 40 years in the Maryvale Union Free School District in Cheektowaga. She was an avid golfer and loved to play cards.
She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Loretta Baumgardner; and brothers, Russell, Samuel and Joseph Pecora.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Michael) Barrett of Amherst and Polly Ann (Mark) O’Connell of Gansevoort; her sister, Margaret (Thomas) Melizzi of Wadsworth; her sister-in-law, Dolores Wardell of Tonawanda; and eight grandchildren, Kathryn, Timothy and Calvin O’Connell and Caroline, Michaela, Rebekah, Evan and Joseph Barrett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Geneseo.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs.

Joseph Cipolla

East Rochester: Went to be with the Lord, May 6, 2009, at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his wife, Dora. He is survived by his children, Thomas (Janis) Cipolla & Margaret (Jon) Nickerson; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many friends and family.

 

Spezzano, Gerald W.

Geneseo/Pittsford: June 18, 2008. Gerry was born January 17, 1935 in Geneseo, NY the son of Angelo & Wilda Drennan Spezzano. He graduated from Geneseo High School, attended St. Bonaventure, and graduated from RIT in 1956. He ran a successful accounting practice in Geneseo for 52 years. Gerry was pre­ceded in death by his parents Angelo & Wilda Spezzano. He leaves, to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Shelby, son Chris (Robin), grandchildren Kather­ine and Stephen, son Marc (Tina), sister Norma (Irwin) Davis, brother Roger (Roseann), niece and nephews Bruce Davis, Ronald Davis, Linda (Davis) Garjow, Scott Spezzano and John Spezzano.

Gerry leaves behind many clients and friends to whom he remained devoted to throughout, not the least of which is San­dra (Hodges) Orologio, to whom the fam­ily would like to especially thank for her many years of friendship. Gerry will be missed but not soon forgotten.

No prior calling hours. Interment will be at the convenience of the family- A cele­bration to honor Gerry's life will be held at a time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests dona­tions be made to Unity Park Ridge Hos­pital, Mary Anne Cropo, Nurse Manager of 3100 c/o Unit Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
